ABOUT THE EVENT
Join us for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Drone Safety Day at Lansing Community College and enjoy a free, fun day of flying and learning about drones. Drone enthusiasts of all ages are invited to join industry experts and LCC Drone Program staff.
Attendees will improve their skills and knowledge with hands-on drone safety activities and learn piloting techniques. Those of age will also have the opportunity to take the Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST), an FAA certificate required for recreational flyers.
Morning activities: Engage with industry experts as they share insights and best practices in small Uncrewed Autonomous Systems (sUAS) drone safety and how these are utilized within our community.
Afternoon activities: Take to the skies and experience the thrill of flying drones firsthand!
