Modeling Mobility – Workshop

ABOUT THE EVENT
Modeling Mobility is a five-day workshop that emphasizes modeling pedagogy and wave theory for the physics or physical science classroom. Participants will receive facilitated instruction in coding and application of the micro:bit and construct a robust robotic vehicle system complete with ultrasonic sensors, lights and sound, and a high-quality object recognition camera. You will receive kit materials including micro: bit-based robotics vehicle platform and AI Camera. Additionally, industry experts will make presentations on the sector and “in-demand” career pathways.

We take the big ideas behind one of Michigan’s leading industries – “Mobility” and break it down into bite sized chunks suitable for classroom teachers to share with their students.
